I was drawn to the subtle interplay of light and mood, where the figure’s posture and presence conveyed a sense of calm introspection. There is a quiet narrative in that moment—one that speaks of solitude, reflection, and inner stillness.
Using oil pastels, I worked with soft, warm yellow tones blended with earthy greens to create a gentle, harmonious atmosphere. The textures and layering were carefully developed to enhance the softness of the scene, allowing the mood to unfold naturally.
