What captivated me most was the sense of silent conversation that seems to exist within the grove. Using pen as the medium allowed me to focus on the richness of texture and detail that defines the forest environment. Through fine linework, cross-hatching, and careful shading, I sought to capture the character of weathered bark, delicate ferns, winding vines, and the subtle interplay of light and shadow.
