This artwork is inspired by the timeless beauty of traditional temple carvings, where form, detail, and devotion come together in perfect harmony. The figure of Ganesha, symbolizing wisdom and auspicious beginnings, is portrayed with a sense of calm strength and quiet grace.
What drew me most was the intricate detailing found in sculptural art—the delicate ornaments, the balanced posture, and the spiritual stillness embedded within the form. I wanted to recreate that sculpted essence through the softness of colour pencils.
Using warm sepia tones, I focused on building depth through gentle shading and fine detailing, allowing the artwork to feel both grounded and divine. The ornamental arch framing the composition enhances its temple-like presence, giving it a sense of timeless reverence.
